If you're a returning customer you'll no doubt notice a completely new look and feel to the Tongkat Fitness website. We hope you'll like the revamp as much as we do, but to give you an insight in to some of the changes we wrote this quick article listing some of the major upgrades.
Firstly, we wanted to have a single website that worked just as well on a mobile device as it does on your home computer, this type of website is referred to as a 'responsive site', you can get a feel for how this works by resizing your web browser and seeing our website adapt accordingly. For this type of upgrade to take place we were told it was near impossible to rewrite the code for the old Tongkat Fitness website so we started from the ground up and made some other improvements along the way.
Many of you will remember having to go through checkout using discount codes to make bulk purchases. This was such a faff and occasionally we would get customers who would forget to enter the discount code altogether. To improve this we now have quantity discount built right into the website, this is a feature we hope will save a lot of time and confusion.
At Tongkat Fitness we would often get asked about various shipping methods and prices. A question that every customer would like to know before proceeding through checkout. To help in this area we installed a shipping rate calculator right into the shopping cart. To use the shipping rate calculator simply add the desired items to cart then look for the shipping rate calculator at the bottom of the Cart Page, enter your country and area details then click the 'Calculate shipping rates' button, the prices and delivery options will be generated live from your nearest depot (UK, US or Canada).
You may have sensed a reoccurring theme here but again, another question we often get asked is "how much is this product in my currency?" Although we had a currency converter on our old website we've now moved the converter button to the top of the website right next to the 'Cart' button, we hope it will get found easier and used more often.
One thing you should know about currency on the Tongkat Fitness website is that we work in Great British Pounds (GBP), as a British based company this is our native currency. When you go through checkout the currency will revert back to GBP for payment, this is standard so please don't panic thinking something is wrong.
During this upgrade we tried very hard to improve the usability problems our customers had email about over the past year.
